How to process a batch

Upload
Drag your photos into the batch uploader. JPG, PNG, WEBP, and HEIC are supported. Max 25 MB per file.

Add context
Describe the shoot in a sentence or two. This context shapes every description and keyword set TagDuck generates.

Build a filename pattern
Define a naming convention once — e.g. {studio}-{subject}-{keyword}.jpg — and TagDuck applies it to every image.

Set location
Pin GPS coordinates for the whole batch. Those coordinates embed into every file in the batch.

Review and download
Approve metadata, tweak anything you want, then download a ZIP with every image tagged and renamed, plus a companion report.
General questions
What file types does TagDuck accept?+−
JPG, PNG, WEBP, and HEIC. Maximum file size is 25 MB per image; minimum resolution is 50 × 50 px.
What happens if the AI can’t confidently describe a photo?+−
The image is flagged for manual review rather than generating a low-confidence description. You’ll be prompted to add a description manually or skip the image in the review step.
Why was one of my images flagged instead of processed?+−
TagDuck uses AI content moderation. Certain images — particularly explicit body-art close-ups or similar sensitive content — may be flagged even when they’re legitimate commercial photography. Flagged images are held for your manual review rather than processed automatically. This is expected behaviour for work in this category.
Can I reuse a context description across batches?+−
Yes. TagDuck saves your last 10 context descriptions as chips in the context field. Select a previous one as a starting point — each batch keeps its context independent, so editing one won’t affect any other.
Does TagDuck store my original photos?+−
Your uploaded photos are stored only for a limited time after your last activity on a batch, then automatically and permanently deleted — see our Privacy Policy for details. Your download includes the processed images themselves, with the generated metadata embedded, plus an optional report file.
What formats can I export the metadata report in?+−
CSV, XLSX, Markdown, and plain text are available on all plans. JSON report format is available on Starter, Pro, and Agency.
Is there a limit to how many images I can process per month?+−
Yes — each plan has a monthly image quota (Free ~20, Starter ~150, Pro ~600, Agency ~3,000). If you need more, buy a credit pack to add images to your quota. Credit packs are available on any plan, including Free, and never expire.
